So, over a year ago, someone really important to me died. I'd known him since my childhood, since we were around 5/6 years old. He had a hard life and lived on the streets sometimes, which is where he was living when he went missing, on his birthday.
They found him a month later. Well, they found his legs, and that's it.
I... had a hard time accepting that.
Sometimes I have dreams where he's still here. I'm going to catalogue them.

Sometimes I have dreams where he's still here. I'm going to catalogue them.
- A few months after he died: I dreamt that we met up at some nighttime outdoor festival. I said "I thought you died." He said, "Oh no, I'm just laying low for a while." Then we talked but I don't remember what about.
- There was a big flood and I was floating on a raft. I see him floating in the water and I pull him on my boat. He's alive. I float into a flooded Galveston screaming that he's alive and crying.
- I was lost in a horrible Michaels/Target/Home Depot mashup and he was there. We talked about Golden Sun.
- I don't really remember the dream, but I do know he was there.
